CONTACT! Magazine recently compiled a special issue jammed packed with nothing but Revmaster related material. The highlight of this issue is the in-depth article on the R-2300 written by aviation writer Patrick Panzera. We opened our doors to him and showed him the step-by-step process by which we build our engines. Patrick asked tough questions and we answered them and allowed him to take photos during the process. This is by far the most exhaustive article on Revmaster products ever published, and this issue contains a similar article on the Revmaster R-3000. NEW R-2300 ENGINE

Revmaster's Breakthrough R-2300 Engine Offers More Horsepower, Lower Cruise RPM at the incredible low price of $11,700.00
Revmaster Aviation has finished development of its latest upgraded engine, and the results are in: more horsepower at any usable rpm. The new Revmaster R-2300 (2331cc, 142.2 cu.in.) engine maintains Revmaster's famous proprietary systems and parts, including its RM-049 heads that feature large fins and a hemispherical combustion chamber; and it maintains the earlier R-2200's engine's top horsepower (82) at 2950rpm continuous. (Takeoff power is rated at 85, at 3350rpm.)
The R-2300 features a bore of 94mm and stroke of 84mm, a 4-main-bearing crankshaft with a 60mm center main bearing, and forged 4340 steel nitrided journals. The dual CDI ignition system delivers 8-coil spark to 8 spark plugs (2 per cylinder), providing reliable ignition under all conditions. Dual 20-amp alternators, an oil cooler, and Revmaster's proprietary Rev-Flo carburetor round out the package.
